Give your climbing plants the vertical support they crave with our 17" Fillable Moss Pole—designed for strength, versatility, and healthy aerial root development. Unlike traditional moss poles, this pole is fully fillable, letting you choose the substrate that best suits your plant’s needs.

While sphagnum moss is a popular option, you can also fill it with alternatives like LECA, coco coir, or chunky aroid mix. Your plant’s roots will naturally grow into the pole, anchoring as they climb and accessing moisture from within.

Not all plants need a pole but many varieties will thrive if given a pole to climb. Some of our favorite plants to pair with a coco pole are hoya, philodendronmonstera, rhaphidaphora, pothos, scindapsus, and syngonium. We carry many varieties of each!

Sizing information: Plants are living organisms, so each one is unique and may vary slightly in size, fullness, color, and maturity depending on the season, growing conditions, and current availability. We do our best to match the product photos and descriptions as closely as possible while ensuring you receive a healthy, high quality plant.

I just filled my moss pole and put it with a syngonium. I’ll be ordering more.

Nice sturdy support!

I purchased 3 of these fillable support poles. I zip tied them together to make a secure, tall support pole for a Lime Fiddle Philodendron. I also zip tied the bottom stake part onto the pole, only because at this height I wanted to make sure everything will be very secured together. If you are only using one or even 2 together, probably won't need to zip tie bottom stake! Grid is on smaller side so know that big aerial roots may not be able to work their way into whatever medium you fill with. I plan on using thin velcro strip for securing plant to pole as needed. I would recommend this support pole!

Sounds like you set it up perfectly! ✨ Great idea using zip ties and Velcro for extra support—so glad the poles are working well for your Lime Fiddle Philodendron.

NEW VENTURE - FILLABLE MOSS POTS

This is a new experience for me, but since all my plants love to climb or vine, I had to give it a try. These Moss Poles are to me, à better "fix" for filling it with the substrate of your choice. I look forward to seeing the aireral roots attaching naturally and for the leaves to grow larger.

Excellent support poles

I purchased several awhile back for a Lime Fiddle Philodendron, and absolutely love how you can stuff these with any medium you want. I came back here to get more for a few other philos that are needing some support. I recommend these highly! I required extra tall support so zip tied several sets together, plus added a tall plastic "tomato cage" pole that is velcroed to this system for extra support. Try these, you'll be back for more!

Works well for plants with small roots

Sturdy and easy to assemble. The grid is pretty tight, so this will work best for smaller rooted climbing plants.

I have not actually used this pole yet. Or have decided which plant i will give it to. Im excited to try and have loved all of my canopy plant items. Seriously the best.

So glad to hear that! Can’t wait for you to put the pole to use—it’ll make a great addition to your plant setup.

How do we add an extension?

I like this pole, my monstera loves it. Just whish there was the option to extend it since my monstera took off and will need it soon

Great question. You can remove the lower part of the pole and then the pole will attach to another one, but you'll need to use zip ties to keep them in place.

Fillable moss pole

Excellent pole to support plants. I filled it with spagnum moss and it works great. I just wish I could add on to it as plants climb. It was very well packed with safe delivery. This seller is highly recommended. ☆☆☆☆☆!

Just ok

I thought I would be able to connect new poles to the one I have and that’s not an option. Otherwise. It’s a decent moss pole. Just no longevity

Moss pole

This is the first time I’ve purchased this item and there are a couple things I love about it. First, it’s bigger in person than I expected which is great. Second, it’s sturdy. I have the thin plastic moss “poles” that you put together and close it in the back. Well the backs never stay closed well. While what I have works it just doesn’t work well. I’m excited to have something that’s going to give my plant more stability and I won’t have to constantly fuss with keeping it closed. Great item and great price.

Thank you so much for the thoughtful review! 😊 We're thrilled to hear the pole exceeded your expectations and is giving your plant the support it deserves. Sturdy, reliable, and fuss-free—that’s exactly what we aim for! 💪
