Philodendron brandtianum is a unique colorfully variegated indoor tropical plant. The leaves on this plant have large amounts of silver with green variegation.
Philodendron brandtianum loves to climb so provide it with a pole or other support structure to really watch it thrive! As it climbs higher, the leaves with grow longer and are truly a sight to behold.
Caring for your new Philodendron brandtianum is easy. This plant prefers a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter. Allow your plant to dry out almost completely between watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water. Provide it with plenty of bright indirect light.

Philodendron is one of the most popular genuses of Aroid that are currently in cultivation, with over 450 named cultivars.
Philodendron vary greatly in their natural habits, but you will find a large number of them located in Latin America. Their leaves range from small to medium to large to gigantic! You'll find Philodendron with smooth, glossy foliage and some with velvety foliage!
If you allow Philodendron to climb, their foliage will usually get much larger the higher up they get. While this isn't true for all Philodendron species -- it is for most. We recommend a coco pole to really get your Philodendron growing!
For the most part, Philodendron are easy to care for.
The name Philodendron comes from the greek words "philo" (love or affection) and "dendron" (tree).

Nice and pretty healthy. Lost a few leaves but recovering nicely. Added to another pot with an existing Brandi.
Brad (his name. Obviously), came packaged impeccably. (Seriously- how did you do that? He’s a handful!!!) and he settled in very nicely.
In my household he’s been a slow-ish grower but he didn’t really show any signs of shipping stress either. While the pictures I’m attaching are probably way over a month later, this is close to the size he came at.

Pro tip- if you’re able to get your hands on (lol) a second set of hands to help you un pack, repot, basically anything where you’re maneuvering this guy, it will be so much easier. He’s tangly and thin.
Ps I DID find his arrival pic and he actually has grown quite a lot so I guess he’s just not flamboyant. But he’s definitely my silver fox!! 😍

My first order was 14 plants! 😍 They all came packaged beautifully, all intact and barely any loose soil floating around! Whatever soil was loose the rolled cardboard made it easy to drop it back into the pot! They have absolutely exceeded my expectations and this plant was so FULL I even got cuttings from it. Plant arrived in perfect condition, which is pretty much the norm ordering from these guys. It has amazing leaves and they really stand out from the dark green of other plants. Has started to put out new leaves. Excited to see what this one looks like in a few months!

Packaging looked good. Plant arrived a day later than expected due to mail issue and a cold front in Kansas where it was stalled. Upon opening the package I could see it was a lovely plant, as it warmed up to room temperature, and by the next day, I could see it was lost. Two other plants in the shipment survived, one will make it, though looks quite beat up, the other lost baby leaves but no real issues. (Lost baby leaves with stress is expected and no surprise with a Hoya, and the Hoya poly did best. ) The hot pack in the shipment was cool to the touch. Sad for the loss, but knew I was gambling with possible weather coming…. Would have been 5 star otherwise and no fault with seller.
